IoECorp (Internet of Everything Corp) understands that the healthcare industry needs to transfer its digital data flow to a decentralized network to offer patients a secure platform. With the current centralized model of the cloud and the rise of IoT (Internet of Things) devices, the future looks bleak in trust, scalability, and sustainability.

Server centers providing cloud services throughout all industries are struggling to achieve a stable data flow and cannot provide real-time data. A fact that resides in their centralized model forces data flow to move from its initial point to these centralized server farms and then move back to the initial point, e.g., hospitals.

This data flow model creates issues, such as real-time data where it is needed and the well-known vulnerability to cyber-criminals. Two problems within healthcare institutions are not acceptable for the obvious reasons of putting in danger the lives of their patients. With the massive increase in IoT devices igniting a constant data flow through millions of sensors, drifting away from the monolithic model of server centers is paramount.

Hospitals need to have their data at hand when it is required and within a safe environment to assure patients of a zero-trust protocol and privacy. Something that, at present, the big tech companies are not providing, as cyberattacks are a constant within all industries. Therefore, it is fundamental to implement IoE (Internet of Everything) to stand above IoT as a governing software solution to overcome the current and coming vulnerabilities of data flow.

What is the Internet of Everything?

The Internet of Everything is the evolution of IoT, and it implies connections with devices, data authentication, and communication with people. Four fundamental pillars sustain and differentiate IoE from IoT:

1. People — IoE is providing the data produced by the wearables to be interconnected in better ways to result in productive inputs.
2. Process — Using IoE’s potential; results in delivering information to the right person or machine at the precise time.
3. Data — The Internet of Everything has the potential to convert data to information, increasing the speed and accuracy of the data received.
4. Things — This part of the equation is what we know as the Internet of Things (IoT), which is the connected devices to the Internet.

IoE is the orchestrator of these four points. Its mission is to offer an architecture that allows people, data, processes, and things to communicate and respond clearly through data to information. A huge game-changer that can bring to all industry verticals immense benefits and new revenue paths, and in the healthcare industry, these translate into:

· Cost Reduction — IoT devices deployment provides monitoring in real-time by patients and physicians, cutting down essential visits to onsite premises.
· Improved Treatment — By having real-time data to information at any time and anywhere, physicians can make evidence-based informed decisions on the go.
· Faster Disease Diagnosis — The possibility of continuous patient monitoring and real-time data to information with IoE helps diagnose diseases before or at an early stage.
· Proactive Treatment — Providing proactive medical treatment is a reality with continuous health monitoring.
· Drugs and Equipment Management: These are managed and utilized efficiently through connected devices, reducing costs.
· Error Reduction: Data generated through IoT devices, and IoE orchestrated helps in effective decision-making and smooth healthcare operations, reducing errors, waste, and system costs.

These are all significant advancements towards a better, more efficient, and accurate healthcare system, actioned by the Internet of Everything. But it will also generate an evident increase in the digital data flow that a centralized model cannot support, which means IoE is all about a well-designed edge computing platform powered by distributed computing. As for security, a peer-to-peer network that relies on immutable, quantum-safe technology provides the perfect scenario for zero trust.

A change in these decentralized infrastructures has to be acknowledged and introduced as soon as possible in the healthcare industry. Digitalization is a reality for all sectors, and its benefits are there. Still, without developing the core infrastructure of the internet and its centralized cloud services, the damage can be more severe than the benefits. A situation that will create havoc among the network and raise distrust by the end-users, which in the case of healthcare it is doctors, surgeons, patients, etc.

Internet of Everything Corp’s Eden System

IoECorp believes in a technology that is built focusing on a human-first approach, resulting in seamless protocols for end-users. An infrastructure orchestrated through a decentralized, autonomous, portable, secure, virtual infrastructure for managing clustered workloads over depos (decentralized pods) and services facilitates both declarative configuration and automation. To attain this capacity, scalability, security, and sustainability, Internet of Everything Corp has built the Eden System.

In this sense, we have based IoE Eden on a decentralized model based on scalable device clustering, where it is easy to add new devices as nodes. Making it possible for any device to contribute computing resources over an intelligent mesh network so that computing can happen where it is needed and close to where it will be used. We then developed quantum-safe tunnels using polymorphic encryption keys and a consensus blockchain to verify the data moved between the nodes over the tunnels, thus creating trusted data walled gardens.

The orchestration of computing and storage is done via service manifests that describe services rules, policies, and logic. Furthermore, an autonomous knowledge-based AI manages the underlying orchestration mechanics using network consensus over the blockchain as a deciding mechanism. The orchestration dynamically updates the cluster topography to fit the current workload. Eden System Service depos are generated and deployed similarly to container images; the depos are MPI cluster enabled from the start.

Activating the Eden System into the healthcare industry offers the benefits of real-time data to information acting onsite and a cost-efficient installation due to our curated approach. Instead of one size fits all that centralized solutions currently offer.

IoE Corp’s Eden System benefits healthcare

Implementing the Internet of Everything’s Eden System provides you with a defense against denial of service attacks because IoE Eden is fully decentralized. Therefore, DDoS attacks are mitigated — there are no centralized points to takeout. In addition, the capacity to detect Malware trying to replicate itself to other nodes is a solution actioned by verifying data traffic between nodes over a blockchain; thus, malware can be detected and the infected node identified. Another vital solution is bad data and player detection, using verification and sanity checks on entering and transporting data on the Eden System.

Other benefits that healthcare providers can gain from our technology during and after implementation are:

· Agile service creation and deployment: The only addition to a standard container deployment is the Service Manifest generation.
· Continuous development, integration, and deployment: Provides for reliable and frequent depo build and deployment with quick and efficient rollbacks (due to depos immutability).
· Dev and Ops separation of concerns: Create service depo’s at build/release time rather than deployment time, thereby decoupling services from infrastructure.
· Observability: Not only cluster information and metrics but also application health and other signals.
· Environmental consistency across development, testing, and production: It runs the same on a laptop as in the wild.
· Cloud and OS distribution portability: Runs on Linux, BSD, on-premises, on public clouds, and anywhere else.
· Service-centric management: Raises the level of abstraction from running an OS on virtual hardware to running a service on a Decentralized network.
· Loosely coupled, distributed, elastic, liberated microservices: Applications are broken into smaller, independent pieces and can be deployed and managed dynamically — not a monolithic stack running on one single-purpose machine.
· Resource isolation: Predictable service performance.
· Resource utilization: High efficiency and density.

Looking at specific services, like data storage, rollouts and rollbacks, scaling, system malfunction, and security management, the following apply to IoE Eden System.

Internet of Everything Corp — Storage

Eden System provides access to decentralized storage, be it data-lakes, temporary storage for AI crunches, or persistent storage. It also allows you to mount storage systems, such as local storage, public cloud providers, and more.

Flexible service rollouts and rollbacks

Our offer provides healthcare providers with automated rollouts and rollbacks. You can describe the desired state (rules, policies, and logic) for your deployed services using Service Manifests, and it can change the actual state to the desired state at a controlled rate. For example, you can automate IoE Eden to create new services for your deployment, remove existing depos and adopt all their resources to the new service.

IoE Corp’s curated scaling

Our automatic scaling provides healthcare providers with the starting size decision of the cluster of nodes that can or should use to run service tasks. Then, Eden System will optimize how much CPU and memory (RAM) each task needs and add installation value, making it possible to integrate your nodes to make the best use of your resources.

Eden System malfunctioning

As a self-healing advantage, IoE Eden Orchestrator restarts depos that fail, replaces depos, kills depos that don't respond to the service manifest-defined health check, and doesn't advertise them to users until they are ready to serve.

Security & Configuration’s IoE Eden management process

Secret and configuration management with Eden lets you store and manage sensitive information, such as passwords, OAuth tokens, and encryption keys. The process permits you to deploy and update secrets and application configuration without rebuilding your depos and exposing secrets in your service.

How does Eden System differ from a Monolithic System?

To better understand our Eden System, it is essential to differentiate between our technology and the current options. Thus, Eden System is not a traditional, all-inclusive PaaS (Platform as a Service) or IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) system.

Instead, IoE Corp’s Eden is a secure-walled garden solution that operates at the service level rather than the hardware level; it provides features common to PaaS and IaaS offerings, such as deployment, scaling, and load balancing.

However, Eden is not monolithic, and these typical PaaS and IaaS default solutions are optional and pluggable. Eden System provides the building blocks for building and deploying services but preserves user choice and flexibility where it is crucial.

This means that it does not limit the types of services supported. The Eden System aims to support various workloads, including stateless, stateful, and data-processing workloads. If a service can run from a container image, it should run great on a depo.

Another feature differentiating Eden from current solutions is that it does not deploy source code nor build your application. The process consists of Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment (CI/CD) workflows determined by organization cultures, preferences, and technical requirements.

The Eden System only dictates logging, monitoring, or alerting solutions for security concerns; it provides integrations as help and mechanisms to collect and export metrics for other processes. Similarly, it does not provide nor mandate a configuration language/system; instead, it provides a declarative Service Manifest system.

Any comprehensive machine configuration, maintenance, and management aren’t provided; our Eden System incorporates a Learning Machine AI so that you do not need to worry about the mechanics. It doesn’t mean IoE Eden is just a mere orchestration system because, in one way, it eliminates the need for classic orchestration.

· Orchestration: The technical definition of orchestration is the execution of a defined workflow: first, do A, then B, then C.

In contrast, Eden comprises a set of independent, composable control AI-controlled processes that continuously drive the current state towards the Service Manifest provided desired state. As such, it shouldn't matter how you get from A to C. Without the necessity of Centralized control; it results in a system that is easier to use and more powerful, robust, resilient, and extensible.
